Ann Bushnell has 29 chicks living in her bathroom. She also has a chinchilla, a rarantula and a boa constrictor that live with her. Her goat and her sheep keep each other company in a  borrowed piece of property nearby. All told, Bushnell, a naturalist and teacher, has more than 80 animals in and around her San Jose home.
